Pittington Primary School

Welcome to our school

Year 3

On Wednesday we had our Spring Disco. It was great! We had ice pops, cakes and hot dogs. We  strutted our stuff to lots of songs and at the end had a dance off. One of our class won. Take a look at our moves and try them if you can!

Chris Cook the Olympic swimmer visited us in class and talked about setting goals. He showed us how to be 'Mindful' and to achieve our dreams by moving between the comfort, panic and learning zones. We will practise the skills we learned.

Mr Curry our Class Governor came with us to visit the churches. He researched the census for 1911 and talked to us about who lived at the Pittington vicarage. Mr Curry explained what information was collected in a census. He also told us about Beatrix Potter, one of our 'Literary legends.'

Christmas Party 2015 - We played games, danced and had lots of fun.

Our class were invited to St John's Methodist Church. We performed Christmas Carols and readings from the nativity. Afterwards we all had juice and a biscuit. Everyone enjoyed our concert.
